So pain may be a little strong, but uncomfortable is a little less than accurate. I guess just a good little kid term “owie!”. I am afraid to move my neck too much and just about everything you do involves moving your head. I get this uncomfortable pulling/pinching around the incision – which, by the way, probably won’t even be noticible in 2 weeks or so. So I am just feeling good enough to be grumpy about it!! And the headache that plagued me in the hospital has been trying all day to resurface, so I am going to put it to bed with some drugs and start over tomorrow.
Please pray for God’s grace and mercy to bless my family, having to put up with me. And continued patience for my dad as he picks up the to and from school transportation until I can drive – hopefully after seeing the post-op doc on Wednesday.
And on driving…Please pray for Billy – he left tonight to drive to California to work at G & D there for a few weeks. Pray for travelling safety and a good (even tho working) visit.
Also. please keep Cassie in your prayers as she has cheerleading clinic and tryouts this week. As every other parent, I want to always encourage her to try to achieve new goals, and do new things. But more importantly, I want her to seek to be where God wants her to be. And I want to be a Godly mom to help her with decisions and whatever results come our way.
